Stacey was born and raised in Western Wisconsin. Growing up on a dairy farm gave her a relentless work ethic and strong community values. An Arcadia High School graduate, she participated in sports, music, theater and many clubs. She graduated from Carthage College in Kenosha, WI and lived in the Milwaukee area for several years before returning to Trempealeau County where she lives with her husband, Chad, and daughter, McKenzie. She works as a financial representative and serves on the Trempealeau County Board.

Stacey served the G-E-T School District as a member of the Strategic Planning Committee and Covid Advisory Committee. Committee assignments as a Trempealeau County Board Supervisor include Law Enforcement and Emergency Management, Environment and Land Use, Board of Health, Ad Hoc Committees regarding county administration, Chair of the Trempealeau County Health Care Center Board of Trustees and member of the County Ambassador Program.
